Providing Limbs to Amputees in Need:  When a prosthetic  limb is donated to a patient we are literally giving them back their life. A new prosthetic device for an amputee who has been living for several years without one means freedom and independence. They are no longer homebound or tied to a wheelchair or restricted from living an active productive life.

With the donation of $1,500 we can literally take someone out of a wheelchair and have them walking in a week.

Much like the saying about helping the hungry, "Give a man a fish; you have fed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you have fed him for a lifetime." A simple cash donation can provide a needy amputee with the prosthetic device that will enable him  to walk for the rest of their life.

We are not just helping someone for a short period of time, we are offering them a "new lease on life". Think about what we are able to do for these amputee  patients:  it's not like giving money to a charity that must continually ask for donations to continue to assist people, or donations that are forgotten about in a few weeks.  The one-time donation of a prosthetic  limb has an instant, permanent and life changing effect for needy amputees.
